Features of
Online Gift Cards
Gift cards may be purchased online by visiting the
Gift
Card Item Details and adding the item to your Cart.
Online gift card recipients are notified by email in gift
card format that a gift has been purchased in his/her name.
The electronicl notification includes the name of the gift
giver, the denomination, a personalized gift message, and
all instructions pertaining to the use and redemption of
online cards.
Features of
In-Store Purchased Gift Cards
Non-expiring, reloadable magnetic stripe gift cards
are available for purchase in our Marimekko Concept Store,
8519 Georgia Avenue, Silver Spring, MD 20910. The Terms
& Conditions of our Store Gift Cards (which are provided
on the reverse of the card) are as follows: "This card
may not be redeemed for cash. Please present Gift Card when
ready to make payment. The receipt will show the amount
spent and your Gift Card balance. Merchant is not responsible
if Gift Card is lost or stolen. Treat this card as you would
cash." An ID must be presented to redeem gift cards,
and Marimekko Washington, DC is not responsible for lost
or stolen cards. Gift cards may be purchased in any denomination,
with a $10 minimum. Marimekko Washington, DC gift cards
are valid only at Marimekko Washington, DC.

Online
Gift Cards
Online gift cards are activated at the time of purchase.
On-line gift card purchases require the gift recipient
to enter the barcode number located on the front of the
virtual gift card in the appropriate field at checkout.
The gift amount is not redeemable for cash and cannot
be returned for a cash refund. Any unused balance remains
in the recipient's gift account. Balances are not transferable,
and the original expiration date applies to the unused
balance. If the total purchase price exceeds the amount
of the gift, the recipient can pay the balance during
checkout.
Gift receipients are notified electronically each time
he/she makes a purchase. This communication indicates
the remaining balance. Recipients may also check their
balance by calling customer service on 800.656.358. Gift
card cash value is 1/10 of one cent. MarimekkoWashingtonDC.com
has the right to close customer accounts and request an
alternative form of payment if a fraudulently obtained
virtual gift card is redeemed to make a purchse on the
MarimekkoWashingtonDC.com web site. Questions regarding
the use of an online gift card should be directed to customer
